About Me

I’m Sideiq Yar, a multidisciplinary designer and creative professional with more than 10 years of experience bringing ideas to life through branding, digital design, motion graphics, web design, and print.

My passion for design comes from its ability to communicate, connect people, and create meaningful experiences. I approach every project with a balance of creativity, strategy, and purpose—whether I’m developing a new brand identity, designing a website, producing an animation, creating a marketing campaign, or preparing materials for print and social media.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked on a wide variety of creative projects, including logos, complete branding systems, websites, advertisements, infographics, business cards, letterheads, event materials, presentations, social media graphics, promotional videos, and motion graphics. This broad experience allows me to think beyond a single design piece and consider how every element works together to create a consistent and memorable brand experience.

My creative process begins with understanding the story behind the project. I take the time to learn about the organization, its audience, its goals, and the message it wants to communicate. From there, I transform ideas into thoughtful visual solutions that are attractive, functional, and aligned with the brand’s identity.

Accessibility and inclusive design are also important parts of my work. As a designer with cerebral palsy, I bring both professional knowledge and personal perspective to the creative process. My experiences have strengthened my problem-solving abilities and shaped the way I think about usability, representation, and inclusion. I believe design should welcome people of all abilities and make information easier for everyone to understand and experience.

I’m skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Animate, and Character Animator. I also have experience with Figma, Canva, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and emerging AI-powered creative tools. Combining design, motion, and web-development knowledge allows me to create cohesive experiences across multiple platforms.

Collaboration is at the heart of how I work. I enjoy partnering with clients, educators, therapists, marketing teams, and other professionals to turn complex ideas into clear and engaging visual communication. I value listening, exchanging ideas, and building strong working relationships throughout every stage of a project.

For me, great design is about more than making something look good. It should solve a problem, communicate with clarity, inspire emotion, and leave a lasting impression. My goal is to create work that is visually powerful, thoughtfully made, and meaningful to the people it serves.
